Let’s start from Culture!

From 10 January the Super Green Pass is mandatory to enter museums, institutes and places of culture, even if in the white zone

Starting from January 10, 2022, to access the places of culture it is necessary to be in possession of the Covid-19 reinforced green certification certifying vaccination or recovery. All the details in the Circular 158/2021 of the Directorate General for Museums. There is no Green Pass for children under 12. This ministerial provision is envisaged in compliance with the Legislative Decree of 24 December, n. 221 and the indications of the Ministry of Health. It is necessary to wear the mask (surgical or FFP2) to simply access the visit of exhibitions and museums while it is mandatory to wear the FFP2 mask for outdoor or indoor activities and events.

Furthermore, from May 22, reservations are no longer required in order to visit the museums on weekends. It remains necessary only for museums that registered more than one million visitors in 2019.

Reservation is not mandatory but is required to visit some of the most popular museums.

How to reserve? Connect on the website of the museum you intend to visit. Select the purchase for artecard holders or, in the absence of the dedicated box, buy a free or reduced ticket, depending on which type of admissions you are entitled to.
