Museo di Etnopreistoria Alfonso Piciocchi

The museum of ethnography and prehistory, which is situated within Castel dell’Ovo, contains archaeological evidence of the prehistory of Campania and, in particular, the area of Cilento. The prehistory section aims to illustrate the ties between different areas which are geographically distant but chronologically linked. The ethnographic section focuses on the relationship between ethnography and prehistory for educational purposes.
