Housed in the Palazzo Brando, near the town hall, built in 2014 on a project by fabrizio mangoni, it is a rigorous and evocative interactive journey through the millenary history of Padula and Vallo di Diano, from prehistoric times to the nineteenth century.

Through innovative multimedia supports, the museum gives life to a virtual exploration of the territory and history, up to the unification of Italy: archeology, Risorgimento, brigandage, environment and composite civil identities, take shape, room after room, interpreted by voices and images of the protagonists who materialize on the screens by opening drawers and doors of ‘talking’ wardrobes.
