Villa Cimbrone – IMPORTANT: ACCESS IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE
Perched on the promontory overlooking the sea of the Amalfi coast, Villa Cimbrone is one of the most beautiful buildings of Ravello and the whole of the Amalfi coast. It was built in 1904 on the ruins of an ancient Roman villa by a British banker who bought the property. As well as the villa, he restored the splendid gardens which have now become public property. Restored during the 1990s with a design by the architects Giovanna and Alberto White and Giovanni del Pizzo, the villa is now a prestigious 5 star hotel.
