DOMA-Complesso Monumentale San Domenico Maggiore

The Monumental Complex of San Domenico Maggiore is one of the main historical monuments of Naples. Situated between the Decumanus Maximus and the Decumanus Inferior, it has been a historic landmark of the city since the Renaissance. During the visit it is possible to admire the “Aragonese Arches” located in the sacristy with frescoes painted by Francesco Solimena in the 18th century. The itinerary includes a visit to the cell of St Thomas Aquinas who spent part of his life there.
