MUSAP – Museo Artistico Politecnico
MUSAP is created by the “Fondazione Circolo Artistico Politecnico” to allow Naples, the Neapolitans and tourists to enjoy the vast artistic and cultural heritage that the Foundation has gathered in more than two centuries of life, since ‘800.
A magnificent collection with more than 600 works, 80 sculptures, 5500 photographs, 4700 volumes, documents and precious furnishings that allow you to reconstruct the history of Naples, in an imaginative journey from the Belle Epoque to contemporary art.
Historical talents and excellent personalities, not only Neapolitans, have made MUSAP what it is today: a space where hospitality and generosity are the key to living according to art.
Diving in the precious rooms of MUSAP is like diving into a timeless place. Walking through stuccos and crystal chandeliers it is still possible to hear the echo of the discussions that animated these environments.
Close your eyes. It will seem to be with Eduardo Dalbono and Domenico Morelli to discuss painting, or to participate in the creation of the masterpieces of Raffaele Viviani and Eduardo De Filippo, perhaps listening to the sweet notes of Giacomo Puccini and Francesco Cilea, where these minds have actually spent the their time.
