From June 2016 a new card for a tour of discovery of contemporary places to Naples in Caserta with some emblematic stages:
- MADRE_ Contemporary Art Museum Donnaregina, 7200 square meters of exhibition space, installations of the site-speci c collection of Domenico Bianchi, Francesco Clemente, Luciano Fabro, Rebecca Horn, Anish Kapoor, Jeff Koons, Jannis Kounellis, Sol LeWitt, Richard Long, Mimmo Paladino, Giulio Paolini, Richard Serra at the collection in the making Per_forming a collection, a project dedicated to the progressive formation of the museum’s permanent collection.
- The Royal Palace of Caserta and the new contemporary art exhibition space which will house the collection Terrae Motus. This was created by the Neapolitan collector Lucio Amelio, who commissioned a group of contemporary artists such as Rauschenberg, Paladino, Pistoletto and Schifano to produce works interpreting the tragic 1980 earthquake.
- The Napoli Novecento Museum - Castel Sant’Elmo. The Napoli Novecento Museum documents?artistic production in Naples throughout the twentieth century. Paintings, sculptures and graphics are on display. The museum is housed in spaces in the upper Prison, and exhibits some 170 works made by 90 Neapolitan artists as well as by artists who, in various capacities, have been active in the city. The exhibition is divided into various sections: the ‘Secession of the twenty-three’ (1909), early Futurism in Naples (1910- 1914), the Circumvisionists movement and later Futurism (1920s-1930s), and examples of artistic production in the post- Second World War period, from 1948 to 1958. We then move on to the sections devoted to the 1970s. The nal section documents the activity of experimental artists of the 1980s. Exhibits include works by Carlo Alfano, Enrico Baj, Mathelda Balatresi, Renato Barisani, Nino Longobardi, Augusto Perez, Renato De Fusco, Mimmo Paladino.
- Museum and Real Bosco of Capodimonte Contemporary Art. The collection, which opened to the public in 1996, comprises works by various artists, such?as Burri, Pistoletto, Merz, Alfano, Warhol, Fabro, Kounellis, Paladino, Nitsch, LeWitt, who, starting from the 1970s, exhibited in and later donated their works to the Museo di Capodimonte Situated on the third oor of the museum this section brings the Capodimonte to life; each year it is renewed with new works that are often speci cally created to compare and converse with the masterpieces of antique art preserved in the Capodimonte.
